Feet for fall!

Even though it is a lovely 107 degrees outside at the moment (why am I not at the beach?!)-- I saw the most adorable new UGGs while at nordy's about a week ago. I strategically have placed them on my birthday wish list. haha. I must admit, UGGs came out of nowhere and literally became a staple for a lot of wordrobes--especially here in LA! My bf always points out how the winter here in LA is not nearly as cold as Northern California, but to us, cold is cold. I pounce on any chance to throw on cute cardigans, leggings, and my Uggs.

I got my first pair of Uggs about 6 years ago, and surprisingly, they are still in pretty good shape. I have the classic tall in chocolate & black, and my mom has a pair of the metallic ones along with the classic cardy in grey. Last season, I bought a pair of the classic tall boots in chocolate with an embossed design on them- I love them! They bring a different flavor to the original UGG boot--unfortunately they were limited edition.
Anyways, I always adore the simple things in life and in fashion, sometimes too much is just bleh. Probably why I wear my UGGs all the time. That being said, the new collection is to die for. 3 words: simple, cute, and cozy. The perfect equation for very happy feet in fall and winter this year :)

My top picks:
Women's Classic Argyle Knit
Why?: Simple pull-on style with a slight pinch of preppiness and argyle wool blend upper; these boots are for sure a comfy choice. I love them in fig, but grey is a little difficult to pass up..maybe I'll get both? :)

Women's Classic Tall Stripe Cable Knit
Why?: The simple pull-on style like all UGGs, and the merino wool blend just makes it comfy sweater for our feet (and it looks like one too!)!
The stripes add the extra oomph in my opinion-- I think I'll go with the navy/cream combo.

The key(s) to my heart

The teal box that makes most girls swoon and incredibly giddy (including myself), has just given us another reason to add a little fun to our jewelery!

Tiffany & Co. introduced Tiffany Keys, which they describe as a magical collection of Key pendants brimming with intrigue and allure. An exciting array of chains of varying lengths and materials.From vintage to more modern pieces, one of these pendants definitely holds the key to my heart. Call me old fashioned, or a die hard romantic, but I've always found the idea of a guy giving his girl a key pendant as the cutest thing ever. I must have seen it on a Lifetime movie when I was younger...

While making my usual mall run, I stumbled upon the most adorable accesories in hallmark. There were eyeglass cases, compact mirriors, makeup bags, change purses, etc. with the cutest sayings on them! My favorite: "Shop 'til the cards won't swipe", a must have for my purse! I finally decided on the compact mirrior, but there is so much on the website--and don't we all love the little things that can put a smile on our face?! Especially with the positive sayings, like "Pretty girl..Prettier person" they are definitely hard to resist

perfect beauty buys- LOVES IT.

Hi dolls,
I can finally report that I have found my new MUST have products! I rarely repurchase beauty products- unless I absolutely love them.
drumroll please
#1: Trish McEvoy Flawless Concealer
2 clicks and I'm set for the whole day- a must have for anyone with even the teensiest of dark circles under the eyes. If you can cover it, why not?!
Tip: Remember, always pat concealer in with your finger or a concealer brush, unless the makeup will settle into creases.
#2: MAC Studio Moisture Tint SPF 15
I hate wearing SPF (I know, horrible.) mainly because of the way it makes my skin feel. However, MAC really got perfection with this tinted moisturizer! I was a normal Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer fanatic, but I hated the way that you could feel that it was on your face..plus it always looked a little shiny (I used the oil free formula). I was really skeptical on MAC, because I normally dislike their face makeup (but LOVE their fun eyeshadows, nail polishes, etc.)- yet I was pleasantly surprised! The formula is lightweight, minimal coverage, but definitely evens out skin tone.
Tip: Use the MAC 131 Duo Fibre Powder/Blush Brush for perfect application every single time. I use this brush with my foundations as well and it is AMAZING.
#3: MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Cheeky Bronze
This is perfect highlighter/bronzer. It adds soft sheen wherever you apply it and makes skin look sun kissed, my new must have for fall! I use the brick bronzer by Bobbi Brown, don't get me wrong- I have them in both bronze and rose but I still find this MAC product to be more natural looking. I'll still use Bobbi Brown occasionally- more likely for eyeshadow now though.
Tip: Use with MAC 131 brush (same as above), and dust on to cheekbones, down nose, and chin.
#4: Vaseline Aloe Fresh Moisturizing Body Gel
The perfect body moisturizer for summer! It is so lightweight, and cools skin on contact. The Plus side, this product contains no alcohol. And it leaves skin looking fresh!

I love finding the gems of out of all the beauty products out there :)
